About the job
In this key role, you will work on strategically important projects at Sympany – from structuring complex issues to preparing decision templates and business cases, right through to supporting implementation in the specialist departments. You will be a sparring partner on equal footing for management and the executive board, bringing best practices from management consulting and understanding the specifics of the insurance and healthcare sectors. In doing so, you will make a significant contribution to effectively and sustainably advancing our strategic agenda. You will report directly to the Head of Strategy & Project Portfolio and work closely with him and the team.
Senior Strategy Project Lead (m/f/d)
How you contribute:
- Design and lead strategically relevant initiatives (e.g. growth, efficiency or transformation projects) – from the idea to handover to the line
- Develop decision bases and business cases for the executive board and other committees (options, scenarios, impact analyses, recommendations for action)
- Analyse market, customer and competitive developments and derive concrete fields of action and strategic initiatives
- Act as a sparring partner for project leaders and specialist departments to ensure the strategic alignment of key projects and the effective anchoring of strategic initiatives in the organisation
- Further develop selected project management methods and standards for strategic projects in close coordination with project portfolio management
- Prepare and co-design strategy, steering and decision meetings (content, structure, presentations)
What sets you apart:
- You have a completed degree and ideally have gained experience in management consulting.
- You have several years of experience in handling and leading strategy, transformation or change projects, with a clear reference to the insurance/healthcare environment.
- You possess very strong analytical and conceptual skills, structure complex issues skilfully, prioritise effectively and translate insights into clear, actionable decisions.
- You communicate in a structured, clear and audience-appropriate manner and have the ability to present complex matters understandably both orally and in writing.
- You bring a high level of methodological competence in project management and feel particularly at home in strategic and cross-functional projects.
- You manage your stakeholders confidently, present yourself assuredly at all levels and can convey demanding content appropriately and convincingly.
- You have impeccable German language skills, both spoken and written. English skills are an advantage.
