The main duties of this role are as follows:

• Occupy various workstations (instrument technician, circulating nurse)
• Train/improve surgical techniques
• Understand the operation of medical-surgical equipment and the high-tech devices specific to the operating room
• Supply the operating room with sterile and non-sterile medical devices
  and monitor orders
• Perform care skilfully
• Respond to emergency situations
• Comply with hygiene and safety rules in the operating room
• Record the surgical procedure and validate billing
• Participate in updating procedures related to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certification covering operating theatre activities
• Develop, apply and control pre-treatment, disinfection, and sterilisation procedures for reusable medical devices

Profile

• You hold a HES Nursing Diploma (or an equivalent qualification as well as Red Cross Recognition in the case of a foreign diploma)
• You have a specialisation as an instrument technician or TSO
• You have at least one year of professional experience in an operating theatre
• You have completed sterilisation training - Level I (desired)
• This position is aimed at a dynamic, rigorous and flexible personality who enjoys working within a small multidisciplinary team (8 members)
