MES Platform Infrastructure Team Leader

For one of our prestigious Geneva-based clients, we are looking for a MES Platform Infrastructure Team Leader.

Main mission

Manage the organisation of the infrastructure administrators team related to MES (Manufacturing Execution System) solutions, our IT system used in industry to monitor, control and optimise production in real time and ensure the availability of managed systems.

The main context of the position is to maintain the quality of our products via our industrial production tool that manages our various sites.

Your responsibilities

• Coordination with the platform development team
• Administration and supervision of technical resources
• Optimise system availability, performance and security
• Manage evolutions and deployments
• Handle complex Level 3 incidents
• Manage the platform lifecycle
• Ensure the proper functioning of industrial production control services and workshop equipment
• Guarantee technical deliverables in accordance with project deadlines
• Participate in the managers' on-call service and advanced support

Your profile

• Higher education in computer science (HES Engineer…)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally with experience managing or leading a team of 5 people (direct management or as a referent/lead)
• Operational experience with system infrastructures (MS Cluster, SQL Server AlwaysOn, LoadBalancer, Kubernetes…)
• DevOps culture and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Advanced troubleshooting skills, mastery of monitoring tools and dashboards
• Awareness of information security
• Strong leadership and excellent listening skills
• Customer-oriented, service-minded and good interpersonal skills
• Proactive, highly autonomous, quality-focused and strong team spirit
