The mission of the Project Coordinator and Research Assistant is to coordinate and support the activities of the 3X Lab (“eXploring eXtraordinary eXperiences”) within the Institute of Customer Experience Management. The role involves planning and orchestrating the Institute’s projects, serving as a key point of contact for internal and external partners, and ensuring smooth execution of multidisciplinary initiatives. The coordinator contributes to developing innovative customer experiences in the luxury goods industry and collaborates with a diverse team exploring new service signatures. Through this mission, the role embodies EHL’s values and strengthens research and practice at the intersection of hospitality and luxury.
What will you do?
- Prepare practitioner reports and presentations for the industry.
- Support the Institute director in research projects and writing of articles.
- Plan and coordinate projects of the 3X Lab.
- Support the planning and coordination of executive education workshops and cross-collaboration with other departments at EHL.
- Communicate, coordinate, and collaborate when required with internal and external stakeholders such as industry and academic partners.
- Support the organization of events and activities led by the 3X lab.
- Occasional business trips for service audits.
- Conduct service audits and test new service concepts.
- Support student business projects conducted for clients.
Who you are?
- You hold a Master’s degree in Management, Finance, or Social Sciences (or equivalent).
- You have experience with quantitative research methods and data analysis tools such as Nvivo, Stata, SPSS, R, or similar; Python is an additional advantage
- You possess excellent analytical and critical thinking skills and are able to handle multiple tasks in parallel.
- You are proficient with Microsoft Office programs and have an interest in continued knowledge of services technology as it evolves.
- You are able to work autonomously while effectively collaborating within multicultural, international research teams.
- You maintain a professional attitude and are ready to take responsibility for your actions and the results.
- You have a keen eye for detail, organization, and you are client-oriented.
- You have knowledge about hospitality and willingness to contribute to developing this field.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You are fluent in English and French (C1), another language is an advantage.
