Job Description
As Deputy Director of Finance, Administration and Human Resources at ECAL - Lausanne Cantonal School of Art, you are responsible for its financial strategy: you prepare the School's budget, oversee its implementation and advise the management on financial matters. As a member of the management team, you actively participate in its strategic leadership and its outreach. You also lead the human resources and supervise the School's administrative and technical services. Finally, you represent the School with partners and participate in committees or interest groups related to your areas of responsibility, both internally and externally.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the management of ECAL and be a driving force within the executive committee
- Develop and manage the School's financial and budgetary strategy, in compliance with regulatory frameworks
- Develop and adapt management systems with cantonal and HES-SO applications
- Ensure management control, analytical and financial accounting, as well as financial closings and reports of the School, in connection with cantonal control bodies
- Develop the HR strategy, in collaboration with management, and oversee its implementation
- Support employees throughout their lifecycle within the School
- Manage the School's infrastructure and equipment
- Represent the School with various partners

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Federal Diploma of Expert in Finance and Controlling, or equivalent
- Additional training in Management and HR
- Proven professional experience in finance and management control as well as team leadership, ideally complemented by experience in human resources
- Knowledge of applications (ORACLE) and financial directives of the Canton of Vaud is desirable
- Knowledge of the public service and the Swiss academic sector is desirable
- Proven skills in communication and representation, agility and interest in managing diverse topics
- Global vision, analytical and synthetic thinking, sense of priorities and ability to take action
- Fluency in French, proficiency in spoken and written English
