The Director Plan Systems, Innovation & Digital is focusing on the technology aspect of the organization in close collaboration with the process and people partners.

The core focus areas are:

• Leading Digital Synchronized Planning and Innovation, including Analytics & Insights jointly with the Business, IT, JSC Digital and other Innovation partners


• Deploying leading-edge technologies supporting all modalities to the Planning organization by leading projects and ensuring consistency of the end-to-end solutions


• Responsible to ensure proper system support during the entire lifecycle of the systems


• Ensures business ownership in all IT, digital and analytics projects

Responsibilities:

• Owns the digital domain Synchronized Planning and works with the other domains to ensure PCM’s requirements are met. Chairs the Synchronized Planning Domain.


• Partners with global/regional JJT and Digital teams and functional PLAN leaders in order to ensure pro-active prioritization and timely delivery of technology projects based on PLAN business needs/requirements


• Provides oversight with the Business Product Owners/Managers in own team for the design and deployment of digital products in the area of Intelligent Automation, Control Towers, Advanced Planning Systems, Digital Twins, MEIO, Strategic Capacity Management, Supplier/Customer Integration, New Modalities.


• Reviews on a regular basis user satisfaction with the technology solutions and uses the feedback to drive system performance and reliability improvements.


• Ensures business participation in JJT’s High Performing Teams and supports the concept for the planning relevant areas.  Similarly, works with the digital team to ensure business participation in the digital teams.


• Works with JJT to ensure upgrade and implementation schedules that do not interfere with the business activities.


• Collaborates with Enterprise Planning, MedTech Planning Excellence, Supply Chain IT, and digital teams to prioritize Plan technology roadmap for PCM.


• Owns overall planning analytics; ensures a consistent set of tools are utilized to improve key supply chain metrics and support business decisions.


• Performs regular internal and external benchmarks to learn from the best and shares the outcomes with the PCM team.  Participates in industry forums to discuss best practices.


• Actively manage and develop internal talent to build advanced capabilities in PLAN processes to build efficient and highly effective teams
