As a Front-End Innovation Intern (m/f/d), you will maintain the front-end innovation ecosystem, work closely with partners, identify new innovation opportunities, and translate them into measurable business impact. Over the course of 6 months, you will be part of a supportive, diverse, and responsible team that is already excited to meet you.
This role is based in Kemptthal (Switzerland), and you will report directly to the Head of Front-End Innovation.
In this exciting position, you are responsible for:
- Supporting the execution of the front-end innovations (FEI) strategy, as well as managing and coordinating related projects in collaboration with Global Product Management, Category Technical Lead, IP, Legal, Regulatory, Operations, and Procurement.
- Framing and promotion of new business opportunities as a "Venture Builder" to advance startup technologies beyond their current stage of development and align them with business requirements.
- Leveraging knowledge of internal company expertise to position Givaudan as a leading company in the field of front-end innovation and entrepreneurship.
- Supporting the building, maintaining, and further developing innovation ecosystems through active networking with foodtech ecosystems.
- Engaging active partners, including close collaboration with accelerators, incubators, hubs, VCs and extended ecosystem network.
Your profile:
- Completed university degree, ideally in the field of food technology
- Experience in project management or venture-building projects
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
- Team player with focus, goal orientation, and the ability to resolve conflicts constructively
- Solid knowledge and expertise in the food industry
- Basic understanding of finance, budgeting, project management, and collaboration
- Ability to handle diverse topics and operate at both strategic and operational levels
