Description
The HR Business Partner acts as a trusted partner to business leaders, providing strategic HR guidance and ensuring alignment between people strategy and business priorities. The role serves as a primary HR contact for assigned business areas and contributes to organizational effectiveness through proactive people solutions.
Responsibilities include advising leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, talent acquisition, development, performance management, and employee lifecycle processes. The HR Business Partner supports managers in identifying capability needs, building teams, and managing change while ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
The role works closely with recruitment stakeholders to anticipate hiring needs, support selection processes, and ensure effective onboarding. The HR Business Partner coaches hiring managers on best practices, assessment methodologies, and decision-making processes.
In collaboration with senior stakeholders, the role contributes to headcount planning, budget preparation, and annual compensation review cycles, working alongside reward specialists to ensure internal equity and market alignment.
The HR Business Partner supports talent development initiatives, succession planning, and individual development plans to strengthen internal capabilities and leadership pipelines. The role also monitors engagement indicators, analyzes trends, and supports improvement actions within the assigned scope.
In addition, the HR Business Partner tracks HR KPIs, uses data and insights to inform decision-making, and escalates risks or deviations from strategic guidelines as needed.
Profile
The successful candidate holds a degree in a relevant field and brings significant experience in a generalist or business-partnering HR role within a structured organization.
They demonstrate solid expertise across recruitment, workforce planning, talent management, HR systems, and people processes.
They are comfortable operating in complex, fast-paced environments and are able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Strong business awareness, analytical capabilities, and the ability to influence stakeholders are essential.
The candidate is organized, pragmatic, and solution-oriented, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. They are able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams in an international context.
Fluency in English and French is required.
