Description
Reporting directly to the Communications Director and working closely with key stakeholders and top management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the social media and PR strategy across multiple channels:
- Develop and implement a content strategy focused on scientific vulgarization and storytelling for social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, Bluesky/X).
- Elevate the digital presence and support strategic storytelling to engage a broader audience.
- Manage and grow the organizational social media accounts, ensuring tone and content.
- Create and publish engaging visual and written content (photo, video, carousels, infographics).
- Act as a community manager, ensuring timely and thoughtful engagement with audiences.
- Collaborate with a small, agile communications team to deliver high-quality, reactive content.
- Provide strategic input and take initiative in proposing new formats and campaigns.
- Travel occasionally to cover major international events and conferences 10%.
Profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in communications, journalism, or social media management.
- Proven ability to translate complex topics into accessible, engaging content.
- Strong copywriting and storytelling skills in English (C2 level or native).
- Experience in environmental, conservation, or sustainability sectors is a strong asset.
- Comfortable with simple visual content creation using in-app tools (photo, video, canvas).
- Demonstrated ability to extract and visualize key statistics for social media.
- Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable working in a small, fast-paced team.
- High emotional intelligence, resilient under pressure, and able to manage topics with discretion and professionalism.
