We are looking for an HR Project Manager specialised in job classification to support a major People Management transformation programme. The role focuses on managing job architecture and classification projects while ensuring the adoption of structured evaluation methodologies such as Mercer IPE or equivalent frameworks.

Our client is a large international organisation undergoing an important transformation of its HR practices and job architecture.
Description
- Lead and deliver strategic HR initiatives related to job architecture, job evaluation and job classification as part of a broader People Management transformation programme.
- Design, implement and maintain a structured job classification framework across the organisation, ensuring consistency, transparency and alignment with HR policies and organisational strategy.
- Manage job classification and job grading projects using recognised evaluation methodologies such as Mercer IPE or similar frameworks.
- Coordinate the review, evaluation and classification of roles across multiple departments, ensuring positions are assessed consistently according to established criteria.
- Partner closely with HR leadership, HR Business Partners and business stakeholders to analyse existing roles, define job structures and implement a coherent job architecture.
- Guide managers and HR partners through the job evaluation process, ensuring the correct and consistent application of classification methodologies.
- Plan and coordinate all project management activities related to job classification initiatives, including defining project plans, milestones and deliverables.
- Ensure classification reviews are delivered on time and within scope, while monitoring project progress, risks and alignment with programme governance.
- Act as a central coordination point between HR, business leaders and the Programme Management Office (PMO).
- Organise and facilitate workshops, working groups and review sessions to assess job descriptions, evaluate roles and align on classification outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the organisation's job architecture framework, including job families and career structures.
- Support the standardisation of job descriptions and role structures across the organisation.
- Support change management and communication activities related to job classification initiatives to ensure understanding and adoption across the organisation.
- Explain job evaluation methodologies and support managers during job evaluation exercises.
- Ensure transparency and clarity of the job classification process across the organisation.
- Monitor the quality, accuracy and consistency of job classification data within HR systems such as SAP SuccessFactors.
- Ensure job architecture, grading structures and classification data are properly documented and maintained within HR systems.
Profile
- Fluent in French or English, with strong proficiency in the other language.
- Proven experience in HR project management, with strong expertise in job classification and job architecture.
- Experience managing job grading or organisational design projects.
- Knowledge of job evaluation methodologies (Mercer IPE or similar).
- Strong understanding of job architecture frameworks (job families, grading structures, internal equity).
- Ability to analyse organisational structures and evaluate roles.
- Experience working with HR Business Partners and senior stakeholders.
- Strong project management and coordination skills.
- Experience with HR systems such as SAP SuccessFactors is a plus.
- Proficiency with project management tools is beneficial.
- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Structured, proactive and comfortable working in transformation environments.
