Manager for the Management and Coordination of Caretaking Services (80% to 100%)

The Schools and Extracurricular Service (SEP) of the City of Lausanne manages 15 educational institutions. To ensure the management of 37 school and extracurricular caretaking services, we are looking for a committed professional. In close collaboration with caretakers and extracurricular management, you will contribute to coherent management of the City’s educational facilities.

Main Mission(s)

Supervise 37 caretaking teams and the depot team, ensuring a clear distribution of responsibilities and promoting collaboration

Optimise the organisational and operational functioning of the teams

Guarantee quality standards in school and extracurricular caretaking services

Ensure efficient management of the service’s equipment depot

Oversee and ensure ongoing training of the teams

Profile

Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as an operations agent or equivalent qualification

Federal diploma as a caretaker or equivalent qualification

Additional training in management, desirable

10 years of professional experience in caretaking and building maintenance

Good interpersonal skills and ease in relationships

Very good knowledge of IT tools

Special Conditions

Driving licence (category B)

Clean criminal record
