The Social Service of Lausanne provides social and financial support to the people of Lausanne. It consists of the Social Insurance Agency (AAS) and the Regional Social Centre (CSR), responsible for implementing the Vaud social action law (LASV) and issuing the integration income (RI) in Lausanne. More than 7,000 people benefit each year from assistance from the Social Service, which must be both diligent and compliant with current standards. A real challenge, which can only be met by trained, motivated teams united around a demanding vision of public service.

Main Mission(s)

Analyse the family situations of people applying for health insurance subsidies, on behalf of OVAM

Calculate entitlements, ensure the consistency of decisions, and order the payment of subsidies to the various insurers in the canton

Welcome insured persons and provide explanations about the decisions made as well as the processing procedures

Handle correspondence and administrative tasks of the sector

Work closely with the subsidy team of the Social Insurance Agency, as well as with all the various municipal and cantonal service providers

Profile

Commercial employee certificate (CFC) or equivalent qualification

Additional training as a generalist in social insurance is an asset

Professional experience in the field of social insurance is desirable

Knowledge of health insurance and the Vaud social system in general is an asset

Sense of responsibility, interpersonal skills and team spirit

Proficiency in MS Office tools
