As part of a replacement within the overhead line service, we are offering a position of:

Overhead Line Coordinator

Your mission

Reporting to the Head of the Overhead Line, you provide technical expertise to contribute to the proper functioning and development of the service as well as its subcontractors. You manage the related administrative tasks, in accordance with the relevant internal and/or external laws and regulations and the set objectives. You coordinate and monitor the various maintenance, renewal or construction operations in interface with engineering as well as follow up on technical developments in the field to organise the corresponding training.

Your main responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor technical developments in the field, as well as organise, implement and follow up related training,
• participate in various projects in the field,
• implement maintenance plans for equipment,
• provide technical support to the overhead line network maintenance service,
• coordinate maintenance work and monitor various sites in interface with engineering as well as provide administrative support to the department head,
• ensure that documentation and schematics are up to date and properly filed,
• participate in the 24/7 emergency intervention service,
• participate in the execution of extension or modification works on the existing network,
• maintain and inspect installations and equipment within your area of activity,
• ensure coordination of the technical expertise of our network with Traction Engineering.

Your profile

• Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as an automation technician, electrician or equivalent qualification,
• minimum 5 years of professional experience,
• experienced employee within an Infrastructure service as an overhead line electrician.
• very good technical knowledge of fixed installations, CAD tools and schematics as well as current laws and regulations,
• strong ability to learn new tasks, you also stand out for your curiosity, adaptability and you enjoy customer contact,
• flexibility for night and weekend work,
• availability for a night duty roster according to an established schedule.
