Take technical and operational responsibility for the accounting department of the fiduciary.
The person will become the main accounting contact of the fiduciary and will supervise two experienced accounting collaborators to ensure the quality of services delivered to clients while supporting the future development of the company.
As part of its continuous growth, a developing Geneva fiduciary is seeking a qualified fiduciary expert to take responsibility for its accounting and payroll division.
The firm supports a clientele mainly composed of SMEs, entrepreneurs, family groups, and companies active in various sectors. Recognised for the quality of its advice, it enjoys steady growth and a loyal client portfolio.
You will join a human-sized team made up of experienced specialists in taxation, accounting, and business consulting.
Responsibilities
Technical management of mandates
- Supervision and review of financial accounts
- Monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Preparation and validation of financial statements
- Management of complex accounting situations
- Accounting for service companies, commercial, asset management, holdings, and trusts
- Supervision of VAT declarations
- Supervision of payroll slips and salary certificates preparation
- Coordination with tax specialists
Management
- Supervision of two accounting collaborators
- Daily technical support
- Training and skills development
- Quality review of deliverables
- Organisation of department priorities
Client relations
- Main client contact for accounting matters
- Participation in client meetings
- Accounting and financial advice
- Development of existing relationships
Organisation and innovation
- Participation in the digital migration of tools from Crésus to GIT (Peppermint)
- Development of internal processes
- Optimisation of working methods
- Support for the transition to cloud solutions
- Increasing use of digital tools and AI, task automation
Candidate profile
Education
- Qualified fiduciary expert, qualified finance and controlling expert, or qualified chartered accountant
Experience
- At least 8 years of experience in Swiss accounting
- Proven experience in a Swiss fiduciary
- Used to managing complex mandates
- Experience in securities accounting
- Supervisory experience appreciated
