The Administration, Finance & Controlling (AFC) department at EHL is responsible for the institution’s overall financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting. It ensures compliance with accounting standards and provides strategic financial analysis to support decision-making. The department works closely with other units to optimize resource allocation and operational efficiency. Through its expertise, AFC contributes to EHL’s financial sustainability and institutional performance .

The mission of the Director of Infrastructure is to lead our infrastructure and technical teams with a strategic vision that blends strong financial acumen, creative problem-solving, and a forward-thinking approach to integrating technology into human interactions. This role is responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and maintenance of infrastructure systems, while also driving future-proof solutions that enhance the customer experience, improve operational efficiency, and support our long-term strategic goals.
What will you do?
- Lead and manage the infrastructure team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for infrastructure development and maintenance with a deep understanding of each individual team’s needs, integrating all the constraints and new opportunities.
- Oversee budget planning and financial management for infrastructure projects, ensuring cost-effective solutions and adherence to financial targets.
- Drive creative and future proof solutions to infrastructure challenges, leveraging new technologies and innovative approaches to improve efficiency and performance.
- Embed cutting-edge technologies into infrastructure projects to enhance human interactions and operational processes.
- Manage infrastructure projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with infrastructure systems, ensuring robust and secure operations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for infrastructure initiatives. Create strong relationships notably with the institutional partners such as La Ville de Lausanne, Canton de Vaud, etc.
- Ensure all infrastructure activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in close collaboration with the Legal Office.
Who are you ?
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Architecture or equivalent, ideally complemented by a Master in Design for Luxury and Craftsmanship from ECAL.
- You have proven experience in infrastructure management, with a strong track record of leadership and innovation.
- You have excellent collaboration skills and can work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- You have excellent financial acumen, with experience in budget planning and financial management.
- You have creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box to drive innovative solutions.
- You are a visionary thinker focused on integrating technology to enhance human interactions.
- You have strong project management skills and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- You have knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in infrastructure management.
- You are fluent in French and in English (C2).
