Deputy Chief Roadman at 80%-100%

Position to be refilled in anticipation of the incumbent's departure.

Activities:

You play a key role in the smooth running of the municipality:

• Collaborate in planning and organising the activities of the roads and municipal construction sites.
• Supervise and support the team, monitor staff and promote a good working atmosphere.
• Control the quality and safety of the work carried out.
• Prepare quotes, excavation permits and ensure the administrative follow-up of the sites.
• Manage event equipment and ensure the proper use of equipment.
• Substitute for the chief roadman in their absence.

Desired profile:

• Federal VET Diploma in a building trade or equivalent qualification.
• Training as a site manager.
• Proven experience in a responsible position with personnel management.
• Driving licence category C + E and machine operator licence.
• Residence in Switzerland allowing arrival at the workplace within 15 minutes.
• Good command of French (spoken and written) and common IT tools.
• Organisational skills, ability to manage several tasks and resistance to stress.
• Availability for winter on-call duty.
