This is a one-year fixed-term contract which can be extended.
- The role primarily involves participation in research projects and scientific publications as well as preparation of teaching events
- The research focus at the chair is on European law, international law and public law (including European and international environmental law, European and Swiss data protection law, bilateral relations Switzerland – EU etc.)
- Half of the working time is reserved for the preparation of a dissertation
- Within the scope of your work, you can also gain initial teaching experience if interested
- A varied role in a diverse, young, motivated team

- Opportunity for independent research and participation in current research projects
- Chance to (co-)author scientific publications and to attend scientific conferences
- Master’s degree in law, preferably MLaw from a Swiss university, or equivalent qualification (at the start of employment)
- Interest in European law or international law
- German-speaking with good French skills; good English skills are an advantage
