Civil and Military Security Service (SSCM)
The SSCM's mission is to implement the cantonal policy regarding population protection. It notably assumes the administrative and military logistical tasks delegated to the canton by the Confederation. Through the military district, the service ensures liaison between those subject to compulsory service and the army. It is also responsible for managing the canton’s military infrastructures and facilities.
Your missions
Do you wish to put your logistical skills at the service of civil and military security? Join us in a versatile and essential role, at the heart of the service’s activities.
You manage technical data and provide support in the areas of equipment intended for soldiers serving at the Colombier site as well as for citizens subject to military obligations. You ensure the maintenance, repair, storage, and distribution of this essential equipment.
As a logistics correspondent with the Confederation, you guarantee the proper management of premises dedicated to logistics while ensuring everything is in perfect working order. Finally, you control and manage the storage of returned weapons and sensitive equipment, ensuring rigorous and secure monitoring.
Your profile
Holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a logistics specialist or an equivalent qualification, you have professional experience in logistics. You also hold driving licences categories B, BE, C, CE and have recognised forklift operator training.
Comfortable with common IT tools, you master the management, maintenance, storage, and distribution of equipment. Knowledge of SAP/WP software is an asset.
You have been or are currently incorporated in the army. A non-commissioned officer rank is an additional advantage. Excellent physical condition is essential to perform the various tasks inherent to the role.
The position requires passing the Confederation’s security checks related to persons (CSP) and presenting a clean criminal record. In accordance with the legal requirements applicable to public office holders, you must be domiciled in Switzerland.
