A School Principal
Your mission
Reporting to the municipal authorities, you will ensure the educational, administrative and strategic management of the schools in Savièse. You guarantee quality teaching, the smooth running of the schools as well as the implementation of municipal and cantonal guidelines.
Your main responsibilities
- Ensure the overall management of primary and secondary schools.
- Guarantee the smooth running of the establishments and support their development.
- Implement the decisions of municipal and cantonal authorities.
- Supervise, support and develop the teaching staff.
- Foster a collaborative and constructive working environment.
- Maintain quality relationships with parents, authorities and institutional partners.
- Develop and manage the budget as well as financial monitoring.
- Manage school infrastructure and equipment.
- Represent the schools to external partners and promote development projects.
Your profile
You are a personality recognised for your leadership, organisational skills and excellent interpersonal abilities. You enjoy working at the interface between educational, human and institutional challenges.
- Recognised pedagogical training.
- Training in school management or an equivalent qualification.
- Additional training in management, leadership or public administration.
- Proven experience in teaching.
- Experience in team leadership or school management.
- Good knowledge of the Valais school system and applicable legal bases.
