Senior Project Coordinator (80% to 100%)

The Parks and Estates Service (SPADOM) is a key player in implementing the strategic challenges of the climate policy of the Vaud capital. It acts, as a leader or privileged partner, on numerous development and infrastructure projects in the city. It is also tasked with maintaining and developing high-quality communal landscaped public spaces. To complete the dynamic team of the Public Spaces and Landscapes Office (BEPP), we are seeking a coordinator for major projects, notably the development of Lausanne's eco-districts. Main Mission(s)

Lead and coordinate the technical and spatio-temporal planning aspects of public space development projects in line with the Municipality's strategic orientations, particularly the creation of new eco-districts and the integration of network projects into public space projects.

Lead and coordinate, as project manager, the construction operations of public spaces as well as external contractors.

Participate in analysing communication needs related to the project execution phase in collaboration with stakeholders.

Ensure the quality of the landscape, biodiversity, and public spaces during the planning phase of projects, while ensuring compliance with legal provisions.

Participate in multidisciplinary study groups and represent the service in various interdepartmental steering groups.

Profile

Master's degree in civil engineering, architecture, or landscape architecture, or equivalent training.

Additional training in public space planning and project management.

Minimum 8 years of professional experience in designing and managing urban public space development projects.

Experience and expertise in site supervision.

Mastery of laws, standards, and professional regulations.

Knowledge of urban development and municipal policies in this area.
