Post-compulsory Education and Guidance Service (SFPO) - Neuchâtel Vocational Training Centre (CPNE)
The CPNE is the reference actor for vocational training offers in the canton of Neuchâtel. We provide training and support at various levels of vocational education (initial, advanced and continuing training).
Your tasks
Your role is to assist the finance administrator in organising, planning and managing the financial administration of the institution.
You gather the necessary information to identify costs and funding, and determine cost prices for the various training pathways.
In collaboration with the heads of CPNE units, you participate in supervisory committees, prepare the required statements and respond to requests from cantonal services on financial matters.
You take part in the preparation of the budget and financial plan as well as the closing of accounts.
Additionally, you support the management of the divisions and the Infrastructure and Projects administrator in their budget management and ensure the application of rules and directives issued by cantonal administration services.
Finally, under the delegation of the finance administrator, you actively contribute to the financial management of the department’s projects, the post-compulsory education and guidance service, as well as the State’s central services.
You carry out your activities in accordance with the directives and processes set out in the integrated Quality-Environment-Safety (QES) system and also contribute to its development.
This is a fixed-term contract of 6 months.
Your profile
You hold a university/HES degree at bachelor level, a federal certificate/diploma or an equivalent qualification in financial management.
With at least five years’ experience in a similar role, you can demonstrate team leadership skills. Knowledge of the Swiss education system is an asset.
You are recognised for your organisational skills, ability to prioritise and delegate tasks, and know how to work flexibly both in a team and within a network.
Furthermore, excellent analytical skills, negotiation sense and a real capacity to make decisions are among your qualities.
Very comfortable with common digital tools (Microsoft 365), you have knowledge of SAP FI and CO modules.
