About the job
The AgroImpact association, created in 2023, brings together industrialists, producer federations from French-speaking Switzerland, researchers, environmental associations, chambers of agriculture, as well as state institutions, to accelerate the climate transition of agriculture and find a pragmatic response to climate change. Within AgroImpact, actors in the agri-food sector work together to implement, in particular, the decarbonisation of agricultural production on farms - through effective measures individually chosen by farmers and without compromising the economic viability of the farms.
To support our development and ensure rigorous, efficient and humane management of our resources, we are looking for our future:
Reporting to the Management, you will ensure the steering and coordination of the organisation's administrative, financial and HR activities, in close collaboration with our service providers. You are a key contact for the Management and contribute, through your expertise and transversal vision, to the steering and development of the organisation.
Your main responsibilities
Finance and management:
- Ensure the monitoring of the organisation's financial management in coordination with our external service providers.
- Prepare budgets and financial plans, monitor their progress and manage the elements necessary for financial management.
- Ensure the monitoring of cash flow, financing, subsidies and budgets related to various projects.
- Coordinate closing work and relations with the audit body.
- Supervise the financial monitoring of platform activities, including fundraising processes and the payment of impact premiums.
- Provide Management and governance bodies with a clear view of the financial situation and report any risks or discrepancies.
Human resources:
- Ensure the coordination and monitoring of HR activities in collaboration with our external service providers.
- Be the preferred contact for Management and employees for routine HR matters.
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding and staff monitoring processes with the relevant contacts.
- Ensure compliance with the legal framework and internal provisions regarding human resources.
- Contribute to the development of a motivating work environment consistent with the organisation's values.
Administration and organisation:
- Ensure the smooth administrative functioning of the organisation and coordinate support activities.
- Liaise with our external service providers, supervise and coordinate administrative aspects related to premises, contracts, insurance and suppliers.
- Ensure the efficiency of internal processes and propose organisational improvements.
- Supervise and support the administrative assistant.
- Participate in development and professionalisation projects of the organisation.
Your profile
You have a higher education in business management, finance, economics or an equivalent field, ideally complemented by knowledge in human resources. You have proven experience in a coordination or administrative and financial responsibility role, ideally with an HR dimension (experience in an NGO, foundation, association or an organisation partly funded by public funds and donors is an asset).
You have good knowledge of financial management, budgeting and activity monitoring as well as HR processes and Swiss labour law.
You are able to coordinate internal and external contacts and work with specialised services. You are comfortable with IT tools and management systems. You have excellent command of French and German, both spoken and written; English is an asset.
You are an autonomous, agile, structured and reliable person who values both the overall vision and the concrete follow-up of files. With good analytical skills, you know how to prioritise, coordinate different contacts and find pragmatic solutions.
Your sense of service, discretion and interpersonal skills allow you to collaborate effectively with Management, teams and governance bodies. You appreciate human-scale environments where versatility, flexibility and initiative are essential.
We offer you
- A transversal and varied role, at the heart of the organisation's operations.
- Close collaboration with Management and various service providers.
- Real autonomy and room for manoeuvre to evolve practices.
- The opportunity to contribute to a meaningful mission.
- A human and stimulating working environment.
- Flexible working conditions, including the possibility of teleworking.
