Student Assignment 40%: Digital Archiving Officer
About the Role
As a Digital Archiving Officer, you give a second life to the visual content of the public entity! Your mission? To classify, structure and make accessible all the photos and videos of events to all the departments of the organisation.
Your environment: You will join a small, caring and highly available team at the heart of a dynamic public organisation.
Tasks
This role involves sorting, indexing and archiving digital sources of public events in order to centralise them.
- Import and classify photographs and videos in the Photoware software
- Check and complete metadata associated with images (dates, locations, events)
- Implement keywords and labels to optimise internal search ("hashtags" type)
- Apply sorting and scheduling rules defined by the department
- Identify and correct inconsistencies or missing information
- Inform the various departments of the availability of newly imported content
We are looking for
A student currently in training (in Communication, Marketing, Media Studies, Management or any other field - all university/HES profiles are welcome)
Immediately available for 40%, ideally spread over full days or afternoons (Monday to Thursday).
Experience or interest in photo management/DAM software (Photoware or similar)
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
Fluent in French
