Caretaker - Beaulieu College (100%)

The Schools and Extracurricular Service (SEP) ensures the coordination and harmonisation of common activities across the 15 educational institutions of the City of Lausanne in the management of pupils and classes.

Beaulieu College is part of the Beaulieu primary establishment and welcomes pupils from 1st to 6th primary year. The SEP is looking for a full-time caretaker who will be responsible for managing the caretaking service to provide a quality service to the school users. The person will need to ensure effective management of the caretaking team and ensure that the establishment offers a safe, clean and functional infrastructure for all users.

Main Mission(s)

Manage caretaking and cleaning work of the buildings to provide quality infrastructure and service

Supervise, lead and coordinate a caretaking team made up of 3 collaborators

Respect and ensure compliance with safety instructions

Ensure general surveillance of the buildings, their premises and access points

Support users in organising events and manage the technical aspects

Manage technical and automated management installations, as well as routine maintenance of furniture

Ensure prevention among pupils and support for teaching staff

Profile

Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as an operations agent or equivalent qualification

2-3 years of professional experience in a similar position

Proven professional experience in team management

Good interpersonal skills, diplomacy and ease in relating to interlocutors from diverse backgrounds and all ages

Excellent command of French, both spoken and written

Proficiency in MS Office tools
