Thanks to innovative technologies, the Water Service is tasked with supplying drinking water to Lausanne and 20 municipalities in the Lausanne region, as well as ensuring the evacuation of water from the city of Lausanne and the treatment of wastewater from its agglomeration. The service relies on the cross-functionality of the expertise and skills of its 200 collaborators to guarantee excellent water quality.

The Water Service Directorate includes finance, human resources, communication, quality and environmental management systems, as well as international solidarity.

Main mission(s)

Control the accounting allocations of orders, commitments and invoices, and make the necessary corrections

Prepare internal billing and ensure compliance with the chart of accounts, analytical sections and VAT codes

Respond to internal and external requests and participate in audits on processes

Collaborate with other City services and external partners as needed

Participate in continuous improvement and digital transformation projects of the finance function

Profile

Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a commercial employee or equivalent training

Federal diploma or equivalent training, an advantage

Several years of experience within an accounting department

Very good knowledge of basic office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Knowledge of SAP and/or Abacus, an advantage

Interest in automation and continuous process improvement is an asset

Rigour, autonomy and organisational skills

Ease in teamwork and good communication skills
