Mission
Within this role, attached to our Flückiger Dials site in St-Imier, you will ensure the organisation and management of the Quality Department. You will define the resources and workflows necessary to guarantee the smooth running of all activities according to the production plan and the quality criteria defined by the Patek Philippe Seal.
At the same time, you will actively contribute to the development of the Department’s performance by leading continuous improvement initiatives, supporting teams in developing their skills, and promoting operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead, unite, develop and motivate your teams to ensure the quality of delivered products.
- Ensure the implementation and deployment of the Quality strategy defined by Patek Philippe on site, and guarantee its application and effectiveness.
- Manage the implementation and improvement of quality processes throughout the product lifecycle (development, industrialisation, series production, customer service and continuous improvement).
- Structure, deploy and maintain the processes, standards and working methods within the Quality scope.
- Develop a quality culture among operational functions.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement, in close collaboration with production departments, internal and external partners.
- Promote the flow of information and cooperation between employees as well as with all internal and external stakeholders.
Profile sought
- Engineering degree in quality or equivalent qualification.
- Confirmed experience in management is essential.
- Significant experience in an industrial Quality role.
- Experience in structuring or transforming a Quality organisation.
- Experience in implementing processes and performance management systems.
- Previous experience in the high-end dial sector or watchmaking industry is an advantage.
- Mastery of quality tools, methods and metrology principles.
- Proficiency in an ERP system (ideally STRATEGIC).
- Proactive and able to make proposals.
- Strong listening skills, client- and solution-oriented.
- Rigour, analytical and synthetic thinking.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, diplomacy.
- Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally.
