Interim Operations Director (6 months)

Our client is a Swiss law Foundation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the management and coordination of the foundation's operational activities.
• Guarantee the continuity and quality of services delivered to beneficiaries and stakeholders.
• Supervise, unite and support team leaders and their staff.
• Manage support functions (finance, human resources, administration, infrastructure, IT and procurement according to the organisation in place).
• Ensure proper budget execution, monitor performance indicators and optimise processes.
• Identify operational risks and implement necessary corrective measures.
• Prepare strategic files and reports for the General Management and the Foundation Board.
• Monitor transformation projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Represent the foundation with institutional partners, authorities and external providers when necessary.
• Contribute to maintaining a constructive social climate and quality dialogue with all stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

• Higher university education or equivalent.
• Proven experience in an operations management role, deputy general management or management of a similarly sized entity.
• Experience within non-profit, semi-public, institutional or highly regulated organisations is an asset.
• Excellent ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage transition contexts.
• Strong skills in budget management, governance and change management.
• Unifying leadership, pragmatism, political acumen and decision-making ability.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluency in French; knowledge of English is an advantage.

Terms and Benefits

• Activity rate: 60-100 %.
