The IT Infrastructure Manager, in charge of our IT Operations and Support Services team, is a pivotal role in maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring cybersecurity and delivering efficient IT support to empower our staff with the technologies and digital tools of a modern workplace.

Our client, Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) is the governing body of motor sport and the federation of the world's leading motoring organisations. The FIA is an international non-profit association.

Description

Infrastructure management: Overseeing the company's physical and virtual IT infrastructure to ensure it is secure, scalable and efficiently supports the organisation's operations.

System monitoring and performance tuning: Implementing and maintaining tools for monitoring the health and performance of IT systems.

Cybersecurity oversight: Developing and enforcing policies to protect the organisation's data and IT assets from cyber threats.

Disaster recovery and business continuity planning: Establishing and maintaining disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Vendor and contract management: Managing relationships with software and hardware vendors, service providers and other third-party entities.

Budgeting and cost control: Developing and managing the IT operations budget, including forecasting future needs, managing costs and ensuring investments in technology deliver value to the organisation.

IT support and service management: Overseeing the IT support team to ensure they provide timely and effective support services to employees.

Project management: Leading and coordinating IT projects that improve operational efficiency and introduce new technologies.

Policy development and compliance: Developing IT policies and procedures that comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

Team leadership and development: Managing the IT operations team, including hiring, training and professional development.

Profile

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.

Minimum of 8 years in IT, preferably in a multi-site and international environment.

Proven experience in IT infrastructure management, cybersecurity and cloud infrastructures, including but not limited to services such as AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform, and VMware solutions for virtualisation and cloud computing needs.

Skilled in the use of Microsoft 365, including SharePoint.

Strong project management skills and experience.

In-depth knowledge of IT compliance and data protection laws.

Excellent leadership and team management abilities.

Fluent in English, other languages would be a plus.
