Accountant

The accountant will play a key role within the team, working closely with senior management and reporting directly to the CFO and CEO.

Tasks and responsibilities

Accounting and finance

• Financial and management accounting for a growing multinational SME
• Preparation of regular financial and cash flow reports for management
• Budgeting, cash flow management, and financial forecasting
• Bank reconciliations and ongoing cash flow monitoring
• Processing and payment of supplier invoices, including cost control oversight
• Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, tax returns, and regulatory filings
• Consolidation accounting for a multinational group structure
• Liaison and collaboration with external auditors
• Management of client invoicing and follow-up on outstanding payments
• Maintenance and monitoring of analytical accounting dimensions
• Payroll administration, including monitoring and reconciliation of social security contributions
• Ensuring compliance with federal and cantonal financial and legal requirements through adherence to existing and new legislation
• Review, enhancement, and monitoring of internal accounting policies and procedures

Required skills

• Holder of a CFC in accounting, Swiss accounting diploma or a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in accounting and/or bookkeeping
• Fluent in French and English
• Experience with MS Office software (excellent knowledge of Excel and Navision)
• Discretion, attention to detail, accuracy and accustomed to strict deadlines
• Ability to work both in a team and individually with minimal supervision
• Strong sense of anticipation and problem-solving skills
