As a Data Services & Business Analyst, you will be part of a Geneva-based data team supporting strategic supplier and business activities. You will be responsible for the end-to-end data management lifecycle (collection, processing, quality, tools, reporting) and for delivering high-value business and commercial analytics to internal and external stakeholders.

Description
Data Services & Data Management
You are accountable for the integrity and reliability of data across the full data lifecycle:
Data Collection:
- Collect commercial, financial, and market data from multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage, maintain, and optimize reporting tools and processes (e.g. Excel, Power Query, BI tools).
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with business, operations, finance, and group stakeholders.
Processing & Storage:
- Ensure collected data is properly processed, structured, and stored in relevant databases and systems.
Data Quality:
- Act as business data owner, monitoring data quality on a regular basis.
- Identify issues and drive corrective actions in collaboration with technical teams, domain owners, operations, and finance.
Master Data Management (MDM):
- Manage key master data domains, including supplier hierarchies and product classifications.
- Ensure consistency and alignment across systems and reporting layers.
Database Management:
- In collaboration with third-party service providers, oversee the local database platform.
- Monitor platform evolutions and ensure data integrity and continuity.
Business & Commercial Analysis
You will be a key partner to business and commercial teams, with a strong focus on value creation through analytics:
- Understand the business context behind the data and translate numbers into meaningful insights.
- Deliver timely and relevant analyses (sales, purchases, products, customers, suppliers, channels, markets, competition).
- Provide actionable recommendations to support performance improvement and supplier management.
- Develop and maintain BI dashboards and self-service analytics for data consumers.
- Produce clear and impactful executive-level presentations (PowerPoint) for management and C-level audiences.
Key activities include:
- Delivering the right data, in the right format, at the right time.
- Translating data into actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Identifying growth opportunities, risks, and spots.
- Supporting monthly reviews, executive committees, and ad-hoc business requests.
- Combining KPIs, visualizations, and business narratives in your analyses.
- Cross-referencing multiple internal and external data sources, including open-source intelligence.
- Supporting Finance during closing, budgeting, and forecasting cycles.
- Supporting strategic planning activities and market or supplier analyses.
- Ensuring accurate and consistent data displayed in supplier-facing platforms.
Your internal customers include Business, Operations, Finance, Strategy, and Executive Management. External stakeholders may also be involved.
Profile
Master's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in data management, analytics, and reporting.
Experience in B2B, wholesale, retail, or distribution environments is a strong advantage.
Knowledge of additional tools or languages (Python, AI, advanced analytics) is a plus.
Intermediate SQL skills for data extraction and transformation.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric.
Advanced user of BI tools (Power BI is a strong asset).
Strong experience with data transformation and automation tools (Power Query a plus).
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros/VBA appreciated).
Strong PowerPoint skills for executive communication.
Comfortable presenting insights to stakeholders and management.
Excellent analytical, synthesis, and storytelling skills.
Fluent in English (written and spoken); French or additional languages are an asset.
