We are looking for a Bilingual HR Officer who plays a key role in delivering high-quality HR services across the full employee lifecycle. This includes responsibilities in HR administration, payroll, and compliance with employment legislation. The role supports the organization's people strategy by ensuring efficient and effective HR operations.
French and English must be Fluent and Italian must be Intermediate.
Our client is a commodity trading firm.
Missions
- Manage all stages of the employee journey, including onboarding, offboarding, induction, and work authorization processes.
- Handle social insurance registrations and provide end-to-end HR support to staff, including issuing necessary documentation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records using digital HR systems.
- Ensure timely updates to employee data, benefits, and compensation details.
- Oversee monthly payroll processing for Switzerland and other relevant countries.
- Respond to employee inquiries, address grievances, and resolve HR-related issues.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of HR policies, procedures, and systems.
- Ensure HR processes are clearly documented and accessible to all staff.
- Advise managers and employees on HR policies and best practices.
- Support recruitment activities, including job postings, CV screening, and interview coordination.
- Strengthen employer branding through effective use of the Applicant Tracking System.
Profil du candidat
- Bachelor's degree and/or HR certification or equivalent qualification.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in a similar HR role.
- Solid understanding of employment laws, HR policies, and industry best practices.
- Inquisitive and open to challenging existing processes; enthusiastic about new HR technologies and practices.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capable of working independently and handling pressure.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Culturally sensitive and respectful of diversity.
- Proficient in IT tools, especially Excel.
- Fluent in English and French; Italian is a plus.
