For our Campus César Ritz Le Bouveret, we are currently looking for a
Reporting to the CAAS Assistant Dean, the successful candidate will join a dynamic team, committed to the delivery of high quality programs and will be required to teach to multi-cultural profiles.
Starting Date: July 1
Key Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Teach Pastry & Chocolate theory and practical classes to students according to our standards and complying with principles of food safety and sanitation
- Explain subject concepts utilizing a variety of teaching methods and strategies.
- Assess student performance through observation and interaction, along with written and practical assignments and submit grades.
Experiences and qualifications:
- Degree in Pastry or Culinary Arts (Professional Certificate or equivalent)
- At least 5 years’ experience in the industry, ideally in renowned establishment
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in pastry arts
- Culinary teaching experience within a hospitality school a strong asset
- Creative team-player, able to work in a very international environment
- Moderate to advanced computer literacy as it applies to delivery of applicable course content
- Facilitation and Presentation Skills
- Sens of Initiative, creativity, maturity, leadership skills
- Fluent in English written and spoken, French is strong an asset
