We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Territory Manager to join our global sales team, reporting directly to the Regional Sales Director for Europe.
In this role, you will lead the development and execution of sales strategies to achieve revenue goals, expand market share, and grow our customer base in the Romandie region of Switzerland.
Success in this position requires a deep understanding of the Swiss healthcare landscape and an established network of healthcare professionals, including key decision-makers in Romandie hospitals. The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with these stakeholders is crucial.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales plan to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Identify new business prospects, perform market analysis, and evaluate competitor strategies to maintain a competitive edge in the industry.
- Generate new business opportunities by actively prospecting and cold calling on potential customers within the territory.
- Develop and present sales presentations tailored to customer needs while effectively conveying iRhythm's value propositions.
- Enhance and expand current customer accounts by offering outstanding customer support, facilitating regular product training sessions, and executing impactful sales presentations.
- Establish and nurture robust connections with key decision-makers, healthcare providers, and hospital personnel to effectively advocate for iRhythm's cardiac arrhythmia solutions.
- Develop a deep understanding of iRhythm's cardiac arrhythmia monitoring products and their clinical applications.
- Provide clinical support and education to healthcare providers to ensure proper utilisation and adoption of iRhythm's solutions.
- Articulate the Zio value proposition to key decision makers, healthcare providers, and transformation leaders
- Support the transformation of the patient pathway for cardiac arrhythmia diagnosis services within the Healthcare Professional team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, clinical specialists, customer experience and customer support, to ensure successful service adoption and post - sales support.
- Collaborate with Marketing to create tailored business cases for each country, focusing on the service's effect on patient outcomes and local health economics, while also engaging in funding negotiations with hospital C-suite executives.
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in the field of cardiac arrhythmia and effectively communicate service features, benefits, and clinical evidence to healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends using CRM tools.
- Generate regular sales reports, including forecasts, market analysis, and competitive insights, to provide actionable recommendations to management.
- Share insights of the successes and challenges faced during the sales process within designated territory.
- Represent the organisation professionally at in-person and virtual exhibitions, workshops, and educational meetings.
- Foster effective teamwork across the international organization
- Drive and represent iRhythm’s values and mission.
About you:
Required:
- A minimum of 5 to 8 years of sales experience in MedTech/Medical Devices within the region
- Proven record of achieving/exceeding sales targets
- Successful track record of prospecting, developing, and closing new business, achieving territory sales goals and objectives.
- Launch experience, introducing new technology or service to Romandie healthcare market.
- In-depth knowledge of clinical applications and the healthcare landscape within your designated markets
- Comprehensive understanding of the healthcare environment and the decision-making mechanisms within the Romandie healthcare system.
- A strong network of healthcare professionals, including key stakeholders across hospitals in Romandie.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities enable the establishment of rapport and trust with healthcare professionals.
- Highly motivated and results-oriented, exhibiting openness and a forward-thinking approach in sales and problem-solving.
- Able to work in a hybrid (virtual and F2F) capacity with customers to drive outputs.
- Ability to travel within your designated markets as required (approx. 50% travel)
- Native/fluent French & English
Desirable:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., life sciences, healthcare, business)
- Proficient in German
- In-depth knowledge of cardiac arrhythmia products
- Market Access experience
- Experience selling service solutions
