We are looking for a highly motivated, reliable, flexible, and well-organised Administrative Assistant to join our ISL Holiday Camps team.
Administrative Assistant – ISL Holiday Camps

The role requires strong administrative skills, with the ability to manage data, lists and a range of administrative tasks efficiently and accurately. Candidates must be fluent in both French and English, and demonstrate excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
Main responsibilities:
- Manage camp administration, including participant registration, accurate attendance lists, and up-to-date participant records for each Holiday Camp.
- Respond to parent enquiries, providing a high level of customer service, and ensuring clear and timely communication with families.
- Prepare and update camp documentation, schedules and operational lists, supporting the smooth organisation and set-up of the camps.
- Support communication and coordination for camp operations and campus set-up, ensuring information is shared effectively with relevant teams and stakeholders.
- Support the recruitment and onboarding of camp staff, including coordinating administrative tasks and ensuring new team members have the necessary information and documentation.
- Coordinate instructor, volunteer and activity information, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
- Provide on-site administrative support during Holiday Camps, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of operations.
- Assist with reports and other administrative tasks during camp periods, ensuring records are accurate, organised and handled confidentially.
Desired profile:
- A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in administration, coordination or a similar role, ideally in camps, education, sports or events, combining administrative and hands-on responsibilities.
- Excellent communication skills in French (C1) and English (C1), both written and oral.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, set priorities and adapt to changing needs.
- Solution-oriented mindset with a strong customer service focus.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when managing registrations, attendance lists, and administrative records.
- Hands-on approach, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to interact effectively with students, parents, camp staff and external partners, and to work in a culturally diverse organisation.
Key requirements:
The Candidates must be available to work during all school holiday periods, apart from Christmas and New Year.
The position represents approximately 25-30% of a full-time role on an annual basis, with most of the work taking place between March and October. During the Holiday Camps operating periods, however, the role will require a full-time commitment.
We are looking for someone who can make a genuine, long-term commitment to the position and who sees this as an opportunity to become a valued member of the team.
The successful candidate will be able to start immediately in preparation for our Autumn Camps beginning 19 October. There will be a two-day training and handover period with the current post-holder to ensure a smooth transition.
