HR Advisor

You advise managers and employees within your scope and contribute to the development of HR services. You identify needs, propose solutions, and participate with the team in building advisory practices adapted to HEIG-VD.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Advise managers and employees in common or complex HR situations, respecting legal and institutional frameworks
• Engage with managers within your scope, understand their needs, and offer appropriate support
• Support recruitment processes, from defining the need to hiring
• Develop, with your colleagues, HR advisory practices and tools made available to managers
• Lead or contribute to cross-functional HR projects, particularly regarding skills, training, and processes

YOUR PROFILE
You have proven experience in HR advisory and wish to contribute to the development of the service.

You have:

• A degree from a higher education institution, HR certificate, or an equivalent qualification. Additional HR training is an asset
• At least five years of experience in HR advisory, recruitment, and supporting managers
• Good experience in designing or improving HR practices, tools, or projects
• Mastery of Swiss labour law and the various applicable personnel frameworks
• Ideally, experience in the public, semi-public, or academic sector

• Analytical mind, initiative, and ability to make concrete proposals
• Autonomy and ability to quickly understand a new environment
• Listening skills, interpersonal ease, and ability to collaborate with the HR team
• Clarity in communication and good writing skills
