About the job
As the institutional representative of the 45 municipalities of the canton, the Association of Geneva Municipalities aims to defend and promote the interests of its members. It is also responsible for the administrative, accounting, and financial management of various inter-municipal entities employing nearly 3,000 people and managing annual budgets exceeding 250 million francs.
As part of its ongoing expansion and to support the development of its activities, the ACG is seeking to integrate and support its management team with:
A Management and Finance Executive Advisor (80-100%)
Your mission:
- Analyse public policies, particularly their financial and organisational aspects;
- Identify the needs of municipalities within the framework of specific public policies;
- Draft explanatory notes for municipal magistrates or management;
- Present and argue the positions defined within a dossier;
- Provide the necessary elements for decision-making to the ACG bodies and management;
- Represent and/or support management during meetings;
- Prepare and/or lead working groups with cantonal offices, municipalities, and partners.
Education and experience:
- Master’s degree in management or finance or an equivalent qualification, or a Bachelor’s degree from a University of Applied Sciences supplemented by a CAS or DAS in management or finance;
- Training or experience in public action and project management;
- At least 7 years of professional experience in financial and organisational analysis or business consulting.
