Junior Application Manager / Junior Application Owner (M/F) – 100%
Reporting to the Head of Information Systems (CIO), you will work progressively autonomously and in close collaboration with the various internal departments in Geneva, the IT services of UNIQA Group, publishers, suppliers and external IT partners. You will be the main point of contact for a portfolio of business applications, with support from the CIO, covering activities including support, operation, development, documentation, operations, quality and user support.
Job description:
This position is particularly suitable for someone at the start of their career wishing to develop a cross-functional vision of business applications, with close support and progressive skill development on functional, technical and organisational issues.
The Junior Application Manager's main mission is to ensure the operational and functional management of certain key company applications. He/she ensures their smooth daily operation, supports users, coordinates exchanges with business units, technical teams and suppliers, and contributes to the continuous improvement of the tools for which he/she is responsible.
Main missions:
360° Application Management
Ensure the operational and functional management of a portfolio of business applications, ensuring their proper functioning, quality and development. The Junior Application Manager coordinates incidents, requests, corrections, tests and deployments with users, IT teams and suppliers, while bridging the gap between business needs and application solutions.
Support, guidance and documentation
Provide daily application support, assist users in adopting tools and contribute to service quality by analysing incidents, managing access, maintaining documentation and participating in data quality.
Profile sought:
Key skills and required qualities:
- Higher education in business informatics, ideally from a University of Applied Sciences (HEG), or equivalent training combining IT, business processes and project management.
- Experience: 0 to 3 years in an IT environment, application support, functional analysis or business informatics.
- Generalist profile with good knowledge in several IT domains: business applications, databases, cloud, interfaces, support, security, BI, operations and documentation.
- We are looking for a versatile person, with a strong learning ability, a marked service orientation and the perseverance necessary to advance topics in an international environment.
Language skills:
- Good level of French, spoken and written, necessary to communicate with business units, understand their needs and support users daily.
- Good technical English required, spoken and written, to work with documentation, tools, suppliers and international IT teams.
- German is an asset.
