Junior Accountant FR / ENG 100% (m / f)

For one of our clients, we are looking for a Junior Accountant FR / ENG in 100% permanent contract and based in Geneva. The collaborator will join the Accounting department of the company and support the accounting team in the day-to-day.

Missions

• Joining the Accounting department;
• Recording accounting entries for various companies and bank accounts;
• Processing bank transactions, intercompany operations, investment movements, foreign exchange revaluations, accruals, and prepayments;
• Reviewing and controling supplier invoices and expenses;
• Coordinating with Treasury for supplier payments;
• Preparing bank and balance sheet reconciliations;
• Assisting with quarterly funding requests and management accounts;
• Supporting annual budgeting and year-end closing activities;
• Maintaining accounting, banking, and administrative records;
• Performing ad hoc analyses and supporting additional finance-related projects as required;
• Reporting to the clients and the Management;
• Participation to the day to day in the office.

Profil du candidat

• Accounting qualification and/or knowledge of accounting principles, ideally IFRS;
• 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar accounting function;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong IT aptitude and the ability to learn new systems quickly;
• Fluent in French and English;
• Reliable, rigorous, detail-oriented, and organized;
• Strong team player with a high degree of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
