The Municipality of Val-de-Ruz covers more than 124 square kilometres and has around 17,500 inhabitants. It is the third most populous municipality in the canton and second in area, with just over 600 employees.

Following a reorganisation of the administration of the Val-de-Ruz School District, we are advertising the position of

Deputy Secretary-General (M/F)

Activity rate: 90%

Your duties

The CSVR constitutes the compulsory school (years 1 to 11) of the Municipality of Val-de-Ruz. It comprises on average 2,200 pupils and 250 teachers, spread across 14 colleges.

In this role, you will assist the Secretary-General in the financial and administrative management of the school district. You will be responsible, among other things, for the operating budget excluding teaching staff, the purchase of materials and equipment, as well as school transport, more precisely:

• budget preparation;

• closing and drafting of comments;

• allocation of resources;

• monitoring of accounts and expenses;

• updating the internal control system;

• monitoring, checking and approval of invoices;

• various administrative tasks (writing letters, procedures, etc.);

• purchase of materials and equipment;

• responsibility for school transport;

• project management.

Your profile

• Higher education in economics, management or finance;

• 5 years of professional experience in the financial field;

• Experience in a school district is an advantage;

• Knowledge of ABACUS, SAP and CLOEE software is an advantage.
