Warehouse Manager – International Removals

As part of a permanent position, we are looking for one of our clients based in Zurich:

Your Responsibilities

Warehouse Management

• You are responsible for the daily management and smooth operation of the warehouse.
• You organise and control the incoming and outgoing goods.
• You ensure stock control, inventories, and monitoring of various material flows.
• You guarantee good organisation and order at the site.
• You ensure the safety and protection of the warehouse.
• You ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workplace.

Coordination

• You coordinate and plan international removal assignments in collaboration with the various involved partners.
• You plan the assignments of teams consisting of three removal staff as well as local subcontractors.
• You organise the resources required for the smooth running of the assignments.
• You ensure operational follow-up and contribute to resolving any unforeseen situations.

Vehicle and Fleet Management

• You plan the deployment of vehicles according to operational requirements.
• You ensure the control and maintenance of the fleet, consisting of one lorry and two vans.
• You ensure the vehicles are in perfect condition and available.

Operational Activities

Depending on requirements, you also take on the following tasks:

• Occasional participation in removal assignments.
• Carrying out smaller material deliveries.
• Operational support of the teams on site.

Your Profile

• Professional experience in international removals, logistics, or a comparable environment.
• Driving licence for lorries – C-CE mandatory.
• Very good knowledge of the logistics environment and the specific requirements related to removal assignments.
• Ability to organise and coordinate several activities simultaneously.
• Sense of responsibility, independence, and a pronounced practical mindset.
• Good communication and coordination skills in dealing with teams, customers, and partners.
• Strong awareness of safety issues and compliance with regulations.

Languages

• German: native or fluent level.
• English or French: very good, at least bilingual proficiency in one of the two languages is mandatory.
