About the job
Introduction
You are a joiner, cabinetmaker or already a draftsman, and you wish to develop or continue your career in the technical office?
Whether you are already comfortable with technical drawing or discovering this path from the workshop, we adapt the support to your profile and experience.
Active for nearly 50 years, the family business Dürig Bois SA is a local company located in the Lake Geneva region in Nyon. Specialised in fitting, interior and exterior joinery as well as door manufacturing, we are a team of about twenty employees.
To strengthen our technical office, currently composed of three project managers, we are looking for a person from the wood trade – regardless of their current level in technical drawing.
Your role
You actively participate in every stage, from the idea on the plan to its realisation on site. You enjoy working with wood and the world of fitting, and you are keen to bring technical rigour and method to it.
Your tasks
- Create technical execution plans on AutoCAD LT
- Prepare cutting lists and participate in ordering materials from suppliers and partners.
- Support the three project managers in the preparation and technical follow-up of their files
- Participate in measurements and preparation of the necessary documentation.
- Transmit technical information to the workshop and installation teams
- Contribute to good coordination between the technical office, the workshop and the site
- Depending on your profile: develop your autonomy in drawing and technical design, or already exercise it fully
Your profile
Above all, you know the wood trade and want to learn or continue to progress.
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a joiner and/or cabinetmaker; higher education in the wood field is a plus.
- You wish to move towards drawing and technical preparation – whether or not you already have experience in this area
- Some initial knowledge of AutoCAD LT and/or Triviso is an asset but not essential: your trade experience and motivation to learn are what count most.
- You are comfortable with common computer tools, especially Outlook and Excel.
- You work in a rigorous and organised manner and know how to manage priorities.
- You appreciate teamwork and communicate easily with interlocutors from different backgrounds: project managers, workshop, installers, suppliers and partners.
- You are comfortable working on several files in parallel.
- You master French as a working language; any other language is a plus.
- You hold a driving licence.
What we offer
- A position open to several career paths: supported retraining from the workshop, direct appointment if you are already a draftsman, or internship/first position for young ES graduates
- For evolving profiles: progressive support to develop your skills in technical drawing, with possible support for AutoCAD training
- A position that remains close to the trade, with a concrete link between drawing, the workshop and on-site realisation.
- A flexible activity rate between 80 to 100%.
- Varied projects in joinery and fitting, which you will be able to follow concretely through to completion.
- A family business of a human scale, established for nearly 50 years in the region.
- A team of about twenty employees where exchanges between the office, workshop and site are part of daily life.
