HR Operations Analyst

We are currently recruiting for one of our clients, an international company based in Basel, looking for an experienced HR Operations Analyst to support their HR team.

This position focuses on Time & Attendance (T&A) and Absence Management, combining operational HR expertise, system management, and Swiss regulatory compliance.

HR Operations Analyst

Your Responsibilities

Time & Attendance Management

• Prepare and maintain monthly T&A reports
• Monitor headcount and organizational structures
• Ensure correct mapping of unpaid leave and resolve system discrepancies
• Manage interfaces between time-tracking systems (e.g. ATOSS) and HR systems
• Maintain working time models and shift structures
• Process on-call (Pikett) and travel times
• Handle vacation adjustments and balance transfers
• Participate in system improvements and process optimization
• Support HR Business Partners on T&A-related topics and cases

Absence & Case Management

Accident Management

• End-to-end handling of accident cases (Suva, medical certificates, daily allowances)
• Reconcile discrepancies and ensure accurate system updates

Illness Management

• Monitor long-term sickness cases
• Manage insurance registrations and related communication
• Process medical certificates and daily sickness benefits (KTG)

Invalidity Insurance (IV)

• Manage IV cases, documentation, and decisions
• Ensure accurate tracking and system entries
• Coordinate all related correspondence

Your Profile

• Commercial background or equivalent ; HR certification (e.g. Personalsachbearbeiter / Zeitwirtschaft) is a plus
• Solid experience in HR Administration, ideally within T&A and Absence Management
• Strong knowledge of Swiss labor law (ArG, OR) and social security (UVG, KTG, IV)
• Experience with time-tracking systems (ATOSS or similar)
• Familiarity with insurance platforms (e.g. Suva)
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy
• Structured, reliable, and solution-driven mindset
• Experience working in international environments
• German & English C1/C2 (both fluent mandatory) ; French: B2
