Donor Management Specialist - 3 months

This is a temporary role for 3 months.

Missions

Strategic Engagement & Intelligence

• Develop high?quality briefings and supporting materials for meetings and events involving European institutions and relevant country stakeholders.
• Provide continuous political, policy, and budgetary intelligence on EU institutions and selected Member States, including developments related to key EU funding frameworks.
• Offer strategic guidance to strengthen engagement with policymakers, civil society organisations, and influential stakeholders across priority markets.

Partnership & Stakeholder Coordination

• Support the organisation and follow?up of meetings and events with European?based partners to enhance visibility and strategic alignment.
• Coordinate engagement with civil society partners in Brussels, including proposing agendas and maintaining a structured plan of action.
• Support regular interactions with European Commission counterparts, ensuring timely responses and follow?up.

Programme, Reporting & Grant Management Support

• Contribute to the implementation and tracking of the organisation's EU engagement strategy, providing updates on milestones and upcoming opportunities.
• Support research and analysis related to institutional assessments and donor compliance requirements.
• Assist with administrative processes related to grant agreements, including documentation, amendments, and reporting obligations.
• Coordinate and contribute to the development of narrative and grant reports for submission to European partners.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of EU institutions, processes, and funding mechanisms.
• Excellent written communication and briefing development capabilities.
• Experience managing or supporting donor relationships, ideally within the EU context.
• Ability to coordinate diverse stakeholders and maintain structured follow?up.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and project?management skills.
