Position:
As an accounting and finance professional, in this position, you will be joining a specialised IT Finance team of three. You will be integrated into the wider Finance & Controlling department, which comprises ten professionals. The Senior Analyst - Finance Systems & MI is responsible for enabling better decision-making by shaping and delivering effective management information and ensuring supporting systems are fit for purpose. This role sits within the Finance Systems & MI team and works in close partnership with stakeholders across Finance and IT to design, develop, and maintain finance processes, systems, and controls that support accurate, timely, and insightful reporting. Acting as a key translator between finance teams (including Financial Control and Commercial Finance) and IT (notably the Business Intelligence team), this role identifies system and MI requirements, implements process improvements, and supports change across the Group. It contributes to both daily operations and longer-term strategic initiatives related to systems, reporting, and finance transformation.
Profile:
The successful candidate will bring a solid foundation in accounting, strong system and reporting skills, and a proven ability to work across functions. They will be comfortable gathering business requirements and converting them into system configurations or MI solutions, with a strong eye for control, compliance, and efficiency.
Key Attributes:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; strong technical accounting knowledge required
- 5+ years' experience in a finance systems or MI-focused role within a corporate or professional services environment
- Expertise in Excel and familiarity with Power BI, Power Query, or related reporting tools
- Working knowledge of ERP systems such as NavOne, MS Business Central, or SAP Concur is a plus
- Fluent English (C1 level minimum); strong written and verbal communication skills; an intermediate level of French is also required
- Skilled in process documentation, end-user training, and cross-functional collaboration
- Detail-oriented, organised, and capable of handling sensitive information with discretion
- Already living and working in the Lausanne/Neuchâtel area (or nearby), or have a clear reason for relocating
