The HBS Operations department at EHL Hospitality Business School ensures the seamless functioning of campus services and academic support. It manages logistics, facilities, and administrative processes to enhance the student and faculty experience. By coordinating daily operations and supporting academic delivery, the department upholds EHL’s commitment to excellence. Its role is essential in maintaining a high-quality learning environment aligned with the school’s global standards .

The mission of the Head of Academic Administration is to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of academic administration through the optimization of tools and processes, with a strong focus on user service. The role involves leading and collaborating on various institutional projects, ensuring accurate data collection and reporting, overseeing academic advisory services and administration, developing strategies to support student success, ensuring compliance with institutional policies, data overall and for accreditation requirements, and strong leadership to manage the teams. The Head of Academic Administration is responsible for the planning and implementation of the administrative, operational, and logistical aspects of study programs, in accordance with program management requirements and regulatory guidelines.
What will you do?
- Supervise the Academic Advisory, Academic Planning Departments and manage the Data Administrator and Analyst, providing guidance and support.
- Lead initiatives to improve academic administration tools and processes, ensuring they meet user needs.
- Oversee institutional planning operations and ensure students & faculty satisfaction.
- Support departments in optimizing academic operational processes and ensure effective collaboration within the teams.
- Work on institutional projects with Data and IT department, and other stakeholders.
- Support departments in optimizing processes, handling academic complaints, and fostering effective collaboration within teams.
- Oversee the Faculty Allocation process, related tasks and collaboration with stakeholders.
- Ensure that internal and external academic reports, analyses, and statistics are accurate in collaboration with IT, Admissions, and Academic departments.
- Provide academic and student data for performance management, quality, and decision making purposes.
Who you are?
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field.
- You have 10 years of professional experience with at least 5 years in a similar position.
- You have a certification or a master in project management and/or data analysis being a plus.
- You have excellent knowledge of Microsoft like Excel and you are at ease with IT software.
- You are at ease with budget management.
- You have excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
- You are committed to providing exceptional service to customers and support to staff members.
- You have the ability to focus on detail while seeing the big picture.
- You have strong understanding of business management, financial, data management and leadership principles.
- You have time and project management skills.
- You are fluent in French and English, German being a plus.
