The School of Practical Arts department at EHL is dedicated to hands-on learning in hospitality professions, combining operational excellence with academic rigor. It trains students in essential skills such as culinary arts, service, sommelier, and hotel management in conditions that closely mirror real-world environments. Through immersive teaching methods and guidance from industry experts, students develop high standards of precision, quality, and professionalism. This department plays a key role in shaping the future leaders of the hospitality industry.

The missions of the Teaching Assistants are to support EHL courses. They also play an important role in being the first point of contact with our passionate students, facilitating their learning. Moreover, Teaching Assistants have an essential role in developing and representing the EHL Group, participating in several innovative projects and events, as well as fostering the connection between campuses, students, and alumni.
What will you do?
- You will be the first point of contact with our teachers and students.
- You will work closely with students in the housekeeping department, supporting their learning and practical training.
- You will participate to the ongoing digitalization of courses to improve our student’s journey and experience.
- You will support Faculty members on the logistics of course preparation, grading and follow-up of practical exercises.
- You will ensure deadlines are met for exams and material submitted by students by updating the LMS pages.
- You will prepare and update course materials to make the bridge between theorical and practical sessions.
Who you are?
- You have a certification in the domain of hospitality or equivalent and you have recently graduated.
- You have 1 to 2 years of experience in the housekeeping field.
- You are service oriented and passionate about improving and facilitating our students’ learning.
- You can work autonomously, and you feel at ease with presenting.
- You have very good communication skills.
- You have very good knowledge of MS Office tools and you pay attention to details.
- You are open minded and proactive.
- You are fluent in French and English.
