Business Line Manager Precision Tubes

NOTZgroup is an international SME conglomerate with several subsidiaries, specialising in the machining, trading and refining of stainless steel and non-ferrous alloys.

Our Jacques Allemann unit specialises in the manufacture of high-precision fine wires, pins, shafts, bars, micro flat wires and profiles in more than 250 standard and special materials. We produce for a wide range of industrial sectors – from the watchmaking industry to medical technology, as well as automotive and aerospace.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a person to develop and grow our new Precision Tubes business, in Brügg (Biel),

Your tasks:

• Build and develop the Precision Tubes business and identify new markets, customers and applications
• Develop especially the medical, pharmaceutical, dental and high-tech markets
• Identify customer needs and develop tailored solutions in collaboration with our technical teams
• Ensure technical and commercial follow-up of projects, from initial enquiry to completion
• Develop, optimise and secure the international supply chain
• Identify, qualify and develop new suppliers and partners
• Analyse markets, trends and competition to identify new growth opportunities
• Develop new application areas and establish sustainable business relationships
• Take responsibility for turnover, profitability, quality and delivery performance of the business

Your profile:

• Technical or commercial education, ideally complemented by training in Business Development, Supply Chain, sales or business management
• Proven experience in Business Development, technical sales and/or Supply Chain Management, ideally in the metallurgical industry, precision products or a similar industrial environment
• Good technical knowledge of tubes, wires, special alloys or precision metal products
• Understanding of industrial processes and ability to communicate with technical and commercial contacts Strong customer and results orientation, with a genuine entrepreneurial spirit
• Autonomy, initiative and ability to build a business from scratch
• Fluency in German and English; French is an advantage
• Availability for travel within Switzerland and internationally
