About the job
Would you like to contribute to the development of the canton of Fribourg, have a public service mindset, and are looking for a varied and meaningful position? At the State of Fribourg, you will work for the canton’s largest employer. Attentive, dynamic, and forward-looking, the cantonal administration and its institutions serve the people of Fribourg.
The CPI (Interprofessional Training Centre), based in Fribourg since 1986, is a public continuing education centre for adults. We offer more than 250 courses, prepare candidates for federal certificates and diplomas, and also manage training programmes commissioned by the public employment service and the AI Office of the canton. Certified ISO 21001:2018, we place quality, adaptability, and professional support for adults at the heart of our mission.
For our language training sector, we are looking for a sector manager.
The training offer in French and German targets a diverse adult audience and combines several regulations: labour market measures (LMM) commissioned by the Public Employment Service (PES) for job seekers, FIDE French courses and French courses aimed at migrants for integration purposes, as well as courses for individuals and companies. The position combines leading a team of 2 training managers and about a dozen occasional trainers. The management portion is estimated at 30-40%. You will also teach in one or other language, which represents 60-70% of the job description.
Joining the CPI means contributing to the development of skills that shape the future. You will work in a collaborative, stimulating, and innovative environment where initiative is encouraged and everyone can have a tangible impact. Together, we support individuals and organisations in their professional development.
