The responsibilities of this position could be shared in a job-sharing arrangement with a current incumbent.
- You ensure the administrative management of the State Chancellery’s direction within the Council of State secretariat, relieving the State Chancellor and Vice-Chancellors of all administrative and organisational tasks
- You manage the administrative organisation of Council of State meetings, in collaboration with stakeholders (agenda, follow-up, sending decisions and letters, finalising documents, scheduling)
- You handle correspondence and draft reply letters to various requests and invitations addressed to the State Chancellery and the Council of State
- You provide administrative support for strategic projects of the Council of State and the State Chancellery
- You carry out administrative tasks for other sectors of the State Chancellery
- You organise the State Chancellor’s meetings and manage her diary and travel arrangements
- Federal diploma as executive assistant or Bachelor HEG in business administration
- Several years of professional experience, preferably within the cantonal administration
- Agility, interpersonal skills and stress resistance
- Ability to think and act in a networked manner
- Anticipation and proposal skills
- Oral and written proficiency in French or German with very good knowledge of the other cantonal language
