The Academic Office department is responsible for fostering an environment of academic excellence and integrity across the EHL Group. Its mission includes overseeing academic governance, ensuring compliance and accreditation, managing faculty affairs and development, supporting thought leadership and research strategy, and maintaining institutional relations with academic authorities. Through these responsibilities, the Academic Office strives to build a dynamic and supportive academic ecosystem that empowers students, faculty, and researchers to reach their highest potential.

The mission of the Strategic Project & Outreach Manager is to enhance the visibility, communication, and impact of research and academic initiatives within the EHL Academic Office. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Research & Thought Leadership, this role operates at the intersection of marketing, communications, and strategic projects. It leads a team of four and collaborates closely with Communications, Marketing, and Social Media teams to oversee content creation, digital presence, and outreach projects, ensuring alignment with EHL’s brand and strategic goals.
What will you do?
- Defines and executes strategic communication plans to elevate EHL’s research and thought leadership visibility.
- Leads outreach initiatives and coordinates with Communications, Marketing, and Social Media teams.
- Manages PR, media relations, and communications for academic events.
- Oversees digital content strategy, including blogs, newsletters, and academic platforms.
- Maintains accurate faculty research profiles and drives SEO and analytics for online engagement.
- Leads a team of four, ensuring effective collaboration and high-quality delivery.
- Supports transversal projects and provides expertise in marketing, tech, and academic communications.
- Promotes EHL values, contributes to teaching excellence, and supports accreditation and quality processes.
Who you are?
- You have a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- You have 5 years of professional experience in related field and 5 year in a similar position.
- You are skilled in cross-departmental collaboration and building strong relationships with faculty, staff, and external partners.
- You have excellent project management and organizational abilities, capable of handling multiple priorities.
- You are fluent in English with strong writing and editing skills, and proficient in French.
- You have strong leadership experience, including team management and cross-functional collaboration.
- You are experienced in digital marketing, SEO, and tools like HubSpot or similar CRM platforms.
- You have a strategic mindset with proven skills in content creation, editorial management, and data-driven communication.
- You understand the Swiss and international higher education landscape and have experience in academic or research environments.
- You are fluent in French and in English (C1).
